The Campaign for Real Ale
The partnership between RIQL and Rutland CAMRA began with the express aim of involving pubs and clubs in the local community. Together we work to develop the social aspect of pub life and encourage venues to become genuine community destinations.
Teams are based across Rutland and neighbouring areas — from Oakham, Uppingham and the villages of Barleythorpe and Whissendine, to teams further afield in Melton Mowbray, Billesdon and Somerby in Leicestershire. Every team plays their home matches at a pub or club, keeping local venues at the heart of the league.
We are always looking to support more venues with hosting quiz teams. If you're a publican or CAMRA member, we'd love to hear from you.
